Roxana Marrero is the Director of the MetroWest Scholars Early Start Program at the College Planning Collaborative. Roxana has been a higher education administrator at Framingham State University for the past 7 years. She has extensive experience with and continues to manage numerous budgets and tracks data for grant funded college access programs. Roxana also coordinates family engagement and near peer success for the 100 Males to College program and In-School college access advising. In addition, Mrs. Marrero served as the program coordinator for Pathways career internship program for underserved students at 

Framingham State University. Roxana volunteers as a member of the board of college access and leadership program Aspira of Massachusetts in Southbridge. Roxana brings a wealth of life experience to MetroWest Scholars. She is a proud bilingual mother of three children, one daughter recently earned her degree from Worcester State University. Another daughter currently attends college working for a degree in Biology and her son, a current high school student is preparing to access college as well. Roxana identifies as a non-traditional adult learner who earned her BA in four years while raising her family and working full time with over 20 plus years of career experience. Her passion for family engagement grounded in access and equity is what drives her to support, assist, educate and engage youth and their families enabling them to change their identity to a college going identity.

Linda holds a Masters Degree in Molecular Biology and worked in the Plant Biotechnology field for more than 15 years as the managing director of an ornamental plant cloning company in Brazil. 

In 2013, Linda moved to the USA and since then, she has been involved in supporting her hometown elementary and middle schools students and teachers, and since 2016, Linda works with English Language Learners.

Linda enjoys the work at CPC and hopes to help the younger generation achieve a great future!
